Bottiglie dallo spirito vulcanico
I contenitori in PET di Sant Aniol hanno un design singolare ed elegante, che nasce dall’idea di esaltare le qualità dell’acqua la cui sorgente si trova all’interno del Parco Naturale della Garrotxa, a più di 120 metri di profondità, in un luogo caratterizzato da lava sedimentata e roccia vulcanica che conferiscono all’acqua purezza e qualità eccellenti.
La soluzione SMI per Sant Aniol
Per salvaguardare l’ambiente Sant Aniol adotta tecnologie di ultima generazione in grado di massimizzare il risparmio energetico. A distanza di 15 anni dalla prima fornitura, l’azienda spagnola si è nuovamente rivolta a SMI per l’installazione di una nuova soffiatrice rotativa EBS 8 KL ERGON, destinata alla linea di imbottigliamento di acqua naturale in contenitori PET da 0,33 L, 0,5 L e 1,5 L.
Vantaggi per l’ambiente
La stiro-soffiatrice EBS 8 KL ERGON installata presso lo stabilimento di Girona monta stampi di stiro-soffiaggio provvisti del fondello speciale “ReduxAir”, che, tramite appositi accorgimenti tecnici e progettuali, permette un rilascio molto più veloce dell’aria che si trova tra le pareti esterne della bottiglia e la superficie dello stampo, rendendo possibile la produzione di contenitori in rPET/PET con pressione dell’aria più bassa:
- contenitori da 0,33 L con pressione dell’aria a 15 bar
- contenitori da 0,5 L con pressione dell’aria a 17 bar
- contenitori da 1,5 L con pressione dell’aria a 25 bar
Ciò rende possibile un ridotto utilizzo del compressore per aria ad alta pressione, con conseguente abbattimento dei consumi di energia elettrica.
Vantaggi per l’efficienza energetica
La stiro-soffiatrice EBS 8 KL ERGON fornita da SMI è dotata di un misuratore di energia provvisto di display LCD digitale, che, attraverso il monitoraggio dei consumi energetici, permette di ottimizzare l’efficienza operativa dell’impianto. Il contatore installato sulla macchina viene utilizzato per registrare e visualizzare alternativamente consumo di energia elettrica, tensione, corrente e potenza in un determinato periodo. Grazie a tali dispositivi, le soluzioni proposte da SMI possono beneficiare dei servizi offerti dalla piattaforma SMYIOT, un database interattivo che da remoto raccoglie, verifica, elabora e valorizza tutti i parametri di funzionamento dell’impianto, sia a livello di singola macchina che dell’intera linea di produzione. Ciò consente all’utilizzatore di migliorare l’efficienza operativa e le prestazioni energetiche dei processi, programmare gli interventi di manutenzione e ridurre complessivamente i costi di produzione.

Among the many innovations introduced are its striking PET bottles, inspired by the volcanic rocks of the Garrotxa region and produced by an EBS 8 KL ERGON stretch-blow moulder equipped with the ReduxAir system to reduce energy consumption.

Sant Aniol PET containers feature adistinctive and elegant designthat conveys the unique qualities of the water whose spring is located within the Natural Park of Garrotxa, at a depth of more than 120 meters, in a place characterized by sedimented lava and volcanic rocks that give the water itspurity and excellent qualities.

To safeguard the environment, Sant Aniol adopts state-of-the-art technologies designed to maximize energy efficiency. Fifteen years after the first supply, the Spanish company once again turned to SMI for the installation of a new EBS 8 KL ERGON rotary stretch-blow moulder, intended for the bottling line of natural mineral water in 0.33 L, 0.5 L, and 1.5 L PET containers.
Environmental benefits
The EBS 8 KL ERGON stretch-blow moulder installed at the Girona plant is fitted with stretch-blow moulds equipped with the special “ReduxAir” bottom, which, through special technical and design measures, allows the air between the outer walls of the bottle and the surface of the mould to be released more quickly, making it possible to produce rPET/PET containers with lower air pressures, especially:
- 0.33 L containers at 15 bar air pressure
- 0.5 L containers at 17 bar air pressure
- 1.5 L containers at 25 bar air pressure
This makes it possible to reduce the use of a high-pressure air compressor, significantly lowering electricity consumption.
Energy efficiency benefits
The EBS 8 KL ERGON stretch-blow moulder supplied by SMI is equipped with an energy counter with a digital LCD display, which, through the control of energy consumption, enables the optimization of the operational efficiency of the plant. The counter installed on the machine is used to record and display, alternately, electricity consumption, voltage, current and power over a given period. Thanks to these devices, the solutions supplied by SMI can leverage the services offered by the platformSmyIoT, an interactive database that remotely collects, verifies, processes and enhances all operating parameters of the plant, both at the level of individual machines and across the entire production line. This allows users to improve operational efficiency and energy performance across all processes, schedule maintenance interventions and reduce overall production costs.
