La qualità degli stampi installati sulle stiro-soffiatrici rotative, necessari per la produzione di contenitori in rPET/PET/PP, é un elemento fondamentale per ottenere bottiglie che attirino l’attenzione dei consumatori sugli scaffali dei punti vendita. A tal fine, per soddisfare le esigenze di un’ampia platea di clienti, SMIMEC realizza stampi per bottiglie con e senza etichetta, grazie a particolari innesti da inserire negli stampi montati sulle stiro-soffiatrici SMI.
Le operazioni di cambio formato per passare da una tipologia di bottiglia all’altra sono estremamente semplici e veloci, in quanto è sufficiente sostituire la sezione dell’innesto. Questa soluzione rappresenta un grande cambiamento dal punto di vista del marketing del prodotto.

SMIMEC nasce nel 1999 per la produzione di parti strutturali, componenti meccanici e stampi in alluminio, acciaio, ferro e ghisa destinati alle aziende del Gruppo SMI e ad un numero crescente di clienti esterni operanti in vari settori. L’insediamento industriale, situato a San Pellegrino Terme, si sviluppa su un’area di 10.000 m² ed è dotato di 22 centri di lavoro CNC, di cui 15 collegati in linea FMS, che eseguono programmi di produzione prestabiliti anche in assenza di operatori e funzionano H 24, 7 giorni la settimana.

Giving shape to ideas of each customer
The quality of themouldsinstalled on the rotary stretch-blow moulders, necessary for the production of rPET/PET/PP containers, is a fundamental element to obtain quality bottles that attract the attention of consumers on shop shelves. To meet the needs of a wide range of customers, SMIMEC produces moulds for bottles with and without labels, thanks tospecial couplings to be inserted in the moulds mounted on SMI stretch-blow moulders.
Size changeover operations to switch from one type of bottle to another are extremely simple and fast as it is sufficient to replace the plug section in the mould. Such solution represents a major change from a marketing point of view.

SMIMEC was founded in 1999 for the production of structural parts, mechanical components and moulds in aluminium, steel, iron and cast iron for SMI Group companies and a growing number of customers in various sectors. The industrial plant, located in San Pellegrino Terme, covers an area of 10,000 m² and is equipped with 22 CNC machining centres, 15 of which are connected to the FMS line, which execute pre-established production programmes even in the absence of operators and operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
